The Azimuthal Equidistant Projection Map of the Earth (known also as the northern polar projection) has the following features:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Azimuthal Equidistant Map of the Earth shows points on the map which are at proportionately correct distances from the center point, with all points on the map at the correct azimuth (direction) from the center point. This north-polar projection shows all meridians (lines of longitude) as straight, with distances from the north pole represented correctly.
The large print format of this political world map makes it perfect for any classroom or display with large print for easy reading. The June and December Solstice charts show and explain the sun's position in its respective months at noon.
Ready-to-Hang maps have rails at the top and the bottom to keep the map flat against the wall with two loops on the top rail for easy hanging. A package of wall hooks and nails completes the set.
