Gleason's New Standard Map of the World (known also as the Azimuthal Equidistant Projection Map) has the following features:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Azimuthal Equidistant Map of the Earth shows points on the map which are at proportionately correct distances from the center point, with all points on the map at the correct azimuth (direction) from the center point. This polar projection shows all meridians (lines of longitude) as straight, with distances from the pole represented correctly.
The large print format of this map makes it perfect for any classroom or display with large print for easy reading. The June and December Solstice charts show and explain the sun's position in it's respective months at noon.
Another Adventure iDiaz map created, printed and produced in Colorado, USA!
